3:03 pm - Sewing Circle?
It is amazing how little girls (ages 6-9) group think.
I've been teaching my daughter how to sew, starting with simple projects that emphasize hand stitching and cutting and measuring. Well, she tells some of her friends, and then they get the idea and the next time that I show up on the playground, I've got more than one girl asking me if I would teacher her too.

I don't think that they realize what they are getting into.
I don't think that I know what I would be getting into if I agreed to teach them.
But, the idea of starting a sewing circle and teaching skills that not only enhance their math, reading, and problem solving skills, but also practical life skills, is very appealing.

Any other thoughts?
